PhD Student, Model Engineering
Turn the latest biology models into runnable Biosimulant Hub labs. You will package AI/ML, ODE, stochastic, mechanistic, and standards-based models into reproducible workflows researchers can run, inspect, and extend.
Biosimulant is building tools for composing, running, sharing, and reviewing scientific simulations. We care about rigorous software, clear interfaces, and research workflows people can trust.
We build product surfaces and runtime systems together, because scientific tools fail when product and infrastructure drift apart.
We value calm execution, explicit tradeoffs, and interfaces that make complex simulations inspectable instead of mysterious.
We are especially interested in people who can move between rigorous engineering and the messy reality of research workflows.

Turn the latest biology models into runnable Biosimulant Hub labs. You will package AI/ML, ODE, stochastic, mechanistic, and standards-based models into reproducible workflows researchers can run, inspect, and extend.
Build and refine the product surfaces people use to discover labs, run simulations, compare results, and manage work across Biosimulant Web, Hub, and Desktop.
Own how Biosimulant runs day to day. You will drive the product cadence with engineering, be the point of contact for the labs and startups we build with, work with our PhD scientists to decide which workflows to build next, and keep the business operating rhythm honest.
Help Biosimulant's small team stay coordinated as we build with researchers and biotech teams. You will keep projects moving, prepare customer and research conversations, maintain clear operating records, and handle the practical follow-through that turns decisions into shipped work.
